Announcing Fund Her's Mission for 2025

Looking ahead to the 2026 midterms in California, it appears there will be between 13 to 14 open seats to flip or protect in the California State Legislature. Additionally, we'll have the opportunity to elect our first woman governor in 2026.

Due to these unprecedented opportunities, Fund Her is calling for donations of $20.25 to kickstart our work in 2025 with early endorsements to fill these seats.

In the first few months of 2025, Fund Her will also launch our Build the Bench program in Mississippi to address the lack of proportional gender and racial representation among the state's leadership. Women are vastly underrepresented in the Mississippi State Legislature with women only making up approximately 12.5% of the members of the House of Representatives and about 17.6% of the members of the Senate. Similarly, less than 50 Mississippi legislators, or 27.9%, are Black/African American despite Black and African American individuals making up 37.50% of the state's population.

Change starts at the local level which is why Fund Her is working to address the lack of representation in Mississippi politics through our Build the Bench program. Since Mississippi's elections occur largely this year, we will need to meet significant fundraising goals to get ahead of that effort. Help us put more women at the helm of local Mississippi government this year by donating today.

Fund Her's
Arizona Launch

In September 2024, the Jeck family hosted Fund Her's Arizona launch in Tuscon, AZ. The Fund Her community joined together for an empowering evening, focused on putting women at the helm in Arizona.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet and hear from Executive Director of Arizona List Catherine Nichols and 2024 Fund Her endorsed candidates for Arizona: Representative Lorena Austin for LD 9 and Deborah Howard for LD 27.

Together, we’re working to flip the Arizona legislature blue and safeguard reproductive care across the state.
