VALERIE MCGINTY
Founder and President

Valerie McGinty is a civil rights and consumer appellate attorney and the co-founder of Fund Her’s 501c3 partner organization, Register Her (dedicated to the voter registration of women and especially women of color). Valerie was named 2014 Street Fighter of the Year by the Consumer Attorneys of California. Having raised significant money for California state progressive causes and candidates at the time, Val realized after the 2016 election that state governments pose a unique opportunity to elect women who can make a difference in their states today and change the face of national leadership going forward. While other organizations offer training and recruitment resources for progressive women candidates, no other PAC is dedicated to closing the gender gap in state politics exclusively.
